Job SummaryMy Client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Scaffolding Estimator to join our growing team. This role is essential in driving the success of their projects, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing, and fostering strong client relationships. You’ll work closely with operations, project managers, and customers to deliver high-quality estimating services across a variety of projects.
Scaffolding Estimator - Responsibilities
1. Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
2. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
3. Prepare detailed cost estimates for scaffolding materials, labour, transport, and equipment.
4. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure feasibility and accuracy of bids.
5. Submit timely and competitive quotations or tenders.
6. Provide quotations for additional works or variations as required during the project lifecycle.
7. Track and analyse win/loss ratios and adjust estimating strategies accordingly.
8. Maintain a database of pricing, suppliers, and subcontractors.
9. Update and maintain the company’s valuation system to ensure all quoted costs are accurately captured and reflected in project financials.
