T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a number of Factory Labourers to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

The role will be starting on a day shift and moving onto a rotating shift pattern once fully trained.
Factory Labourer Job Details & Benefits;
* Rotating shifts – Monday–Thursday 6:00–15:30 & Fridays 6:00–10:00 (with Friday overtime mandatory when required) and an afternoon shift every 3rd week Monday – Thursday 1pm-10:30pm.
* Starting hourly rate of £13.50 with the opportunity to rise to £16 with training sign off.

As a Factory Labourer you could be working across a number of departments where duties vary dependant on the area, however, could include the following;
* Cutting sheets of metal
* Weighing and labelling products
* Stacking products onto pallets manually
* Performing machine checks
* Quality checking the products
* Forklift operation – training is provided
* Working outside on the yard loading scrap metal using JCB shovel
* Using overhead crane
* Working to and ensure targets/deadlines are met
* Adhere to H&S within the workplace
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Factory Labourer Person Specification;
* No beards (due to half-face mask use)
* Blood test is required quarterly due to the nature of products handles
* Must be physically fit due to lifting and moving the product
* Happy to stand for the duration of your shift & complete repetitive duties
* A valid FLT licence is desirable however not essential as training is available if interested
