Information: Position: Security Officer Location: Mayfair - Bond Street Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour Hours: Average 42 hours per week Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days & Nights Job Requirements: SIA Door Supervisor Licence required Security Experience is required - Ideally retail or customer service sector Must be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs Must have good command of English language Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas Flexible in the approach to daily duties First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus Must have five years of checkable work history Job Responsibilities: Able to demonstrate and deliver high-quality guarding and customer service to both customers and service users. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using initiative and thinking on your feet. Calm under pressure and confident in managing confrontational situations professionally and respectfully. Physically fit to carry out internal and external patrols, and able to stand/walk for extended periods. Confident in writing clear and accurate incident and shift reports. Always maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language. Ensure all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, delivering exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding expectations. Capable of assisting members of the public with general enquiries, including providing directions and information about the shopping centre. Able to respond appropriately to customer disturbances or antisocial behaviour, ensuring safety and order are maintained. Conduct opening and closing procedures of the building, patrols, reception duties, emergency procedures, fire exit checks, defect reporting, basic IT tasks, customer service, and radio communications. Present a smart and professional appearance in line with company standards. Confident in undertaking 100% of all specified duties.
