Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Reed Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our Clients Maintenance team based at Fawley. Day-to-day of the role:
1. Conduct repair, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, including rotating mechanical components such as gearboxes, mixers, and various types of pumps.
2. Provide detailed Preventative Maintenance (PM) Reports for integration into our Computerised Maintenance System.
3. Ensure all tasks are performed safely and effectively, adhering to appropriate legislation and company procedures. Assist in developing Task Risk Assessments and Method Statements as needed.
4. Collaborate with team members to diagnose faults, monitor the performance of mechanical equipment, and identify improvement opportunities.
5. Manage the availability of spare mechanical components, coordinate the procurement of spare parts, and oversee materials through the Workshop.
