Overview
Quarry House Vets are a local independent small animal veterinary practice that treat exotics. We have clinics in Torquay, Newton Abbot & Teignmouth. We are RCVS accredited, RWAF awarded for rabbit welfare & knowledge and are a veterinary nurse training practice.
We undertake a wide range of surgical procedures including BOAS, dentals and have the latest in-house laboratory equipment. You can find out more about our services here.
We have a strong, friendly and supportive team including a nursing team of 5 with over 50 combined years of experience. Meet our team.
This position involves carrying out consultations, working up cases, performing general surgery and basic imaging, plus visits to our animal charity partner.
Consultation appointments are taken at all 3 of our local clinics, these duties are shared between our vets and are run by appointment only with the exception of emergencies. Operations are undertaken at our Torquay surgery.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out consultations with patients and clients.
* Working up cases and planning treatment.
* Performing general surgery and basic imaging as part of routine caseload.
* Supporting visits to our animal charity partner.
* Managing appointments across three local clinics; duties shared between vets; emergencies handled as needed. Operations are undertaken at Torquay.
