We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and assisting in various kitchen operations.
Duties
* Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
* Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while maintaining high standards of food quality.
* Engage with customers, providing assistance and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
* Support kitchen staff with various tasks, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
* Previous experience in food preparation or a restaurant environment is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
* A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
