Role Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a passionate and skilled BIM Technician to support architectural project teams through the implementation and application of BIM tools and workflows, with a particular focus on Autodesk Revit. This role involves working closely with the BIM Coordinator and the Head of BIM to ensure that project requirements are met while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Management & Support
Support architectural teams in adopting and utilizing BIM workflows.
Provide technical assistance and feedback to project teams, BIM Coordinators, and senior BIM leadership.
Maintain good communication with team members and provide input on training and workflow needs.
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to work.
Manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.Technical & Production
Set up project drawings and ensure readiness for team collaboration.
Review project models and files to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Support the implementation of best practices across BIM processes.
Assist architects with accurate production of 2D drawings and 3D models.
Coordinate drawing outputs in line with project requirements and collaborate across disciplines.
Play an active role in the delivery of CAD/BIM content, supporting project documentation.
Comply with client and/or internal procedures and quality standards.
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Architectural Technology or a related qualification.
Experience working in an architectural office or similar environment.
Strong understanding of architectural and engineering terminology.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proven ability to take responsibility and work with minimal supervision.Software Skills:
Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
Knowledge of Dynamo (ability to read and write scripts is advantageous).
Experience with the BIM360 ecosystem is desirable.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office 365.What We Offer:
