Job Description
We are seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at our facility at Boscombe Down. Castle Air has a 40 year heritage in the rotary field, and is already well known for maintaining Leonardo aircraft. Applicants will be asked to provide proof of recency and must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
Duties include but not limited to:
•\tProvide and communicate regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/ Head of Department
•\tCertify work within the scope of company authorisations
•\tCarry out both line and base maintenance at any of the Castle Air facilities, and also off-site upon customer demand.
•\tUndertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance
•\tEnsure the highest quality and standards of work are completed in relation to aircraft, components and documentation.
•\tEnsure facilities, equipment and premises are maintained to an acceptable standard
•\tEnsuring operational crew members are debriefed to ensure defects are accurately defined and recorded
•\tAnalyse and interpret technical aircraft information
•\tWork with other Castle Air Departments to ensure smooth operation of the business
•\tEnsure compliance is maintained to industry requirements and authorities (such as the CAA; EASA etc.)
•\tComply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to the relevant company policies and reporting authority.
•\tComplete all tasks as specified in an efficient and compliant manner ensuring that safety matters are always considered and adhered to.
•\tEffective management of all maintenance within your control.
