The role:
Lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Duchy Hospital in Cornwall. This is a strategic role within Ramsay Health Care, ideal for a progressive leader seeking career advancement.
What you will be doing:
* Responsible for providing ISO 13485 standard decontamination services for reusable medical devices.
* Ensure operational performance of the decontamination service.
* Manage within a defined budget, maintaining quality and efficiency.
* Work autonomously across all areas.
* Provide leadership to achieve operational objectives.
* Support staff wellbeing and development through effective appraisals.
What you will bring:
* Extensive management experience in decontamination.
* Recognized decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and lead a team.
* Attention to detail and ability to implement change.
* Flexible approach to meet business needs.
* Management certification or equivalent is advantageous.
