Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
6. Assist with month-end reporting tasks as required.
7. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
8. Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
9. Respond to queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced retail environment.
15. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members.
