Role Purpose To provide and ensure an effective and efficient operation of cleaning services within the building in accordance with risk assessments and method statements. Role Remuneration £ 12.91/hour About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Duties will include but not limited to : - General cleaning of all areas within main office building to a high standard. Ensuring all cleaning products are stored and used in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Replenishing and ordering cleaning products. Concierge duties when required. Key Accountabilities This role profile is intended to provide a general statement of the major tasks and activities of the job. This is not an exhaustive list of all detailed duties. During your employment with us you will be expected to undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required of you and that are broadly consistent with your role. General cleaning of main areas in office building. Vacuuming, polishing of all floors. Cleaning of kitchens, male, female and disabled toilets/shower and replenishment of toiletries.Cleaning of stairwells and corridors to a high standard. Maintain the footpath around building by sweeping on a weekly basis and picking up litter around the staff car park. Removal of waste to external bins. Carry out keyholder duties to include attendance in reception area to admit visitors for evening meetings ensuring visitors sign in and out appropriately. General tidy up of Training and Conference area when visitors leave. Ensure building is left in a secure manner. Post holder is responsible for ensuring safety in the workplace and in this respect ensuring compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of their tasks, within the Health and Safety Policy guidelines. To ensure all cleaning materials are ordered timeously and requisition of any additional supplies required. To carry out all duties of this post in accordance with the relevant Association policies and procedures including Equal Opportunities Policy and Data Protection. About You - Essential criteria Qualifications / Training / Experience Educated to Standard Grade English or equivalent and be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
