Attendance and Admissions Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and efficient individual with exceptional communication skills. You will record and monitor absence and work alongside school staff and external agencies to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and promote school attendance. Working with students and families to improve attendance and creating strategies to improve attendance levels across the school.
You will also use your high-level administration skills to process new admissions to the school adhering to DfE guidelines and working closely with the local authority admissions team.
We are a forward-thinking school and require an Attendance and Admission Officer who can drive and support change with the ability to handle challenging situations. You will need to be able to form positive relationships with our children, staff, parents, governors, and visitors. You will need to be flexible, responding to priorities and problem solving as required.
This is a key post in a 'fast paced' environment and requires a forward thinking, responsive professional reporting to the Assistant Headteacher. You don’t have to have worked in an education environment before but a passion for helping improve the education of our students through providing high quality administration support is essential.

Responsibilities
The appointment is for 30 hours per week, Term Time + 30 Hours. 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Salary and Benefits
Salary will be paid at NJC SCP Grade 6, Point 7-12, Actual salary £18,335 - £19,860 (£26,402 - £28,597 FTE) per annum.
