The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and leading a team, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality care is provided to all residents
Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
Create and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall functioning of the nursing home
Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and efficiency
Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards of care and service delivery
Handle any complaints or concerns from residents and their families in a timely and effective manner
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to continuously improve the nursing home's services.
Requirements: Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or NVQ Level 5 in Care
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role within a healthcare setting
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and resources
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
