Deputy Nursing Home Manager Chester From £24 per hour Full Time - 38.5 hours per week We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager on behalf of a well-established and reputable nursing home provider in the Chester area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with leadership experience to take the next step in their career within a supportive care environment that prioritises high-quality, person-centred care for residents. The Role As a Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the delivery of high standards of clinical care within the home. You will be responsible for supporting the nursing team, ensuring compliance with clinical standards, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and wider care team to ensure the home continues to deliver exceptional care and positive outcomes for residents. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of person-centred nursing care to residents. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans in line with individual needs. Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care staff. Supervise and support nursing team leaders and care staff. Promote a positive environment that upholds residents’ dignity, choice and independence. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals. Ensure safe ordering, administration and management of medications in line with NMC guidelines and internal policies. Assist with the admission process, including pre-admission assessments and care planning. Monitor residents’ nutritional, hydration and wellbeing needs. Stay up to date with current legislation, best practice and regulatory requirements. Support occupancy by assisting with viewings and monitoring care dependency levels.
