Morson Edge is pleased to be partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Interim HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time opportunity offering excellent exposure within a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for an emerging HR professional looking to broaden their experience across the full HR function, with a particular focus on developing employee relations expertise.
Working closely with the wider HR team, you will gain hands-on involvement in a variety of HR activities, building confidence in managing employee relations cases while providing support and guidance to both managers and employees on policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contractual changes and documentation
* Support managers with best practice in people management and HR procedures
* Provide clear and practical advice on a range of HR matters
* Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary issues, grievances, and long-term absence
* Support the review and continuous improvement of HR policies alongside the HR Manager
* Identify opportunities to enhance management capability through coaching and upskilling
* Assist with organisational change initiatives and embed effective HR practices
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience within an HR function (e.g. HR Administrator, Coordinator, or Junior Advisor)
* Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Currently studying towards, or holding, a CIPD qualification
