About the Role
1. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team to assess and formulate treatment plans for young people.
2. Conduct urgent and routine mental health assessments, including neurodevelopmental evaluations.
3. Make clinical decisions around complex issues, supported by knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding.
4. Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adhering to professional guidelines and using routine outcome measures.
5. Build effective links with colleagues and partner agencies to enhance service delivery.
Team Environment
You will be part of a busy CAMHS team comprising nurses, psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, co-located with partner services for children and families. Our focus is on implementing transformation to ensure timely access to high-quality care, supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of young people in Oldham.
