We are a well-established dental practice in Lancashire, covering Blackburn and Preston, dedicated to providing high-quality Minor Oral Surgery (MOS) services. Our practice operates on a referral-based system, ensuring a steady stream of patients requiring expert surgical care.
Job Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Minor Oral Surgeon to join our pool of talented Oral Surgeons and provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex extractions, impacted wisdom teeth removal, apicectomies, biopsies, and other minor oral surgical procedures within our well-equipped practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform minor oral surgery procedures in line with best clinical practices.
* Provide patient consultations, assessments, and post-operative care.
* Work with a referral-based patient list, ensuring high standards of care.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and patient documentation.
* Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Requirements
* Accredited as a Minor Oral Surgeon in the Lancashire area (or willing to apply for accreditation – we can facilitate this process).
* GDC registered and a dentist with a performer number and postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery (or equivalent experience in MOS).
* Experience in performing surgical extractions and minor oral surgery procedures.
* Strong communication and patient care skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid Indemnity Insurance.
