Job Overview:
As Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of field-based Area Business Managers to maximise regional sales performance and promote the company’s medical device portfolio through face-to-face selling.
You will work to regional targets, coach and develop your team in the field, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent execution of strategy and long-term customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and driving activities to achieve regional, product, and territory sales targets
* Managing, coaching, and motivating a team of Territory Managers through regular field visits, joint calls, and performance reviews
* Developing and implementing regional business plans aligned with national objectives
* Analysing sales data, forecasts, and pipeline performance using CRM and reporting tools
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key hospitals, clinicians, and procurement stakeholders
* Supporting pricing discussions and contract negotiations to maximise market share and profitability
* Representing the business at regional clinical meetings, events, and trade shows
* Collaborating with marketing, clinical, operations, and product teams to maximise opportunities and share market insight
* Promoting a positive, compliant, and collaborative sales culture across field and virtual teams
To be successful:
To be successful in this Regional Business Manager role, you will be a proven sales leader with strong commercial acumen and the ability to inspire and develop a geographically dispersed team.
You will be motivated by delivering results through others, comfortable working with data, and confident operating in both clinical and commercial environments.
* Demonstrable experience leading and developing field-based sales teams
* Strong regional sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management capability
* Ability to analyse performance data and implement corrective action plans
* Confident relationship builder with strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Background in medical devices or a clinically focused sales environment (highly desirable)
* High levels of integrity, resilience, and accountability
* Willingness to travel extensively across the Northern UK region
