The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Avonmouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Roles
* HGV Class 1 Afters - 17:00 start - Sunday & Tuesday to Friday
* HGV Class 1 Nights - part time - 22:00 - 23:59 (typically Friday and Sunday with additional shifts through the week where required)
* HGV Class 2 Days - part time - 07:00 - Typically Monday and Saturday with additional shifts through the week where required)
* HGV Class 2 Nights - part time - 22:00 - 23:59 (typically Friday and Sunday with additional shifts through the week where required)
Pay Rate
* Afters Class 1 - £17.29 Per Hour PAYE
* Nights Class 1 - £19.20 Per Hour PAYE
* Days Class 2 - £15.60 Per Hour PAYE
* Nights Class 2 - £17.59 Per Hour PAYE

The role
* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
* Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
* Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
* Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
* 1 months experience required
* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A safety-first mindset.
