Children's Palliative Nurse Associate

About the Role
Provide holistic, personalized care for children, young people, and families with complex, life‑limiting or life‑threatening conditions. Work under the direction of the Matron across a range of settings, ensuring seamless escalation to registered nurses when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Work under the Matron to provide care in a variety of settings.
* Provide personalized care to children, young people and families per the holistic care plan; identify changes in condition and ensure escalation to the registered nurse.
* Empower children, young people and relatives to make decisions and exercise choice.
* Engage children and young people in stimulating, creative activities, encouraging play indoors and outdoors, supporting use of community facilities where appropriate.
* Meet children’s or young people’s psychological, social and physical needs.
About You
* Qualified registered Nursing Associate (NMC)
* Previous experience working with children with complex health needs.
* Ability to provide sensitive care, taking into account culture, beliefs, wishes.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures for adults and children.

Additional Information
Interviews scheduled for 10th November. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates will receive an enhanced DBS check for children, two satisfactory references and evidence of immunisation against specific diseases or willingness to receive necessary vaccinations.
