Job Title: Load Planner Location: Tiverton, EX15 3FA Job Length: Permanent Working Hours: 45 hours per week. Predominantly starting at 5am and finishing at 2pm on a Monday to Friday basis. About the role: As a Load Planner at Carlsberg Britvic, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient distribution of our iconic beverages across the UK. You'll be responsible for coordinating logistics to meet business needs, working closely with our support team and other depots. We're looking for a flexible, forward-thinking candidate who can adapt to changing demands and contribute to our dynamic team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following: Role Responsibilities: Planning, directing, and controlling the activities of the CMBC Transport Team Ensuring planned routes are in line with working time directive (WTD) and drivers’ hours. Producing optimal transport plans and approving transport routes. Assisting the Transport Planning Supervisor to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively. Monitoring the Transport Management software. Liaising with our depots and customers as required on deliveries and any issues. Ensuring the department complies with health and safety legislation. Producing cost efficient operational transport plans daily Experience and Key Attributes: IT literate with experience using MS Office and SAP preferred, not required.
