As a Payments Lifecycle Associate in Cash Asset Management, you will be part of a firmwide function, consisting of over 390 employees operating in 7 locations, a firmwide utility providing end-to-end cash management enabling Treasury to manage the firm's balance sheet. You will work within the Projections Service. As a member of the Cash Projections Team the key priority is to ensure accurate and timely dialogue with Corporate.
Job responsibilities
1. Handle large value transactions to the strictest of deadlines
2. Identify and challenge discrepancies and anomalies to mitigate risk
3. Work on continuously strive to improve knowledge of processes and procedures
4. Act as a team player, able to work a rotating shift patterns with coverage between 6am and 6pm and very occasional Saturdays (day in lieu given)
5. Complete escalation issues where appropriate
6. Collaborate across Cash Asset Management (service leads, change teams and operations), building strong internal and firmwide stakeholder relationships to influence change
7. Deliver effective communication tailored to stakeholders across the firm at all levels
8. Own process enhancements to reduce manual exception processes
9. Provide approval support for FINRA Series 99 requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10. Series 99 Qualified (or to become within 6 month of start date)
11. Self-motivated, highly numerate and accurate, team player with good interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
12. The ability to meet tight deadlines and handle high value payments is essential
13. Good awareness of risk and control issues
14. Desirable to have previous payment and/or cash management experience
15. Excellent prioritisation, planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and to act with own initiative
16. Confident in both verbal and written communication at all levels
17. Takes responsibility and ownership for issues and follows through to resolution with timely and relevant communications
18. Able to work comfortably and confidently under pressure and tight deadlines and is detail oriented

20. Financial Services background, especially in operational roles
