The Job Summary
Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are looking for a Commercial Bid Executive to join the sales team in Ballymena. The role involves developing and growing the commercial and aftermarket support side of the business.
The Role
* Creating clear and well‑structured client proposal packs and tender documents.
* Integrating information from the sales and aftermarket teams into tender responses.
* Performing initial review of tender documentation and summarising requirements.
* Using online tender portals to collate and upload information accurately.
* Working with the purchasing team to validate spare parts pricing and engaging suppliers.
* Interpreting customer contractual requirements and compiling simplified reports.
* Creating sales materials, including tender presentations.
* Collaborating with the Service One Commercial and Product Growth Manager to calculate Repair and Maintenance Packages.
* Drafting deal sheets for senior executive approval.
* Engaging with internal stakeholders across departments and ensuring deadlines are met.
* Communicating with customers verbally and in writing.
* Working closely with Commercial and Aftersales Directors to capture relevant customer requirements.
* Gathering and organising tender information for the bid library.
* Working with UK and International Bid Teams to include aftersales proposals in vehicle supply tenders.
* Maintaining tender and quotation files on internal software.
* Supporting drafting business reports when required.
The Requirements
* A minimum of an HND/NVQ L5 in a business‑related subject or equivalent OR 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience of quotation preparation.
* Experience of parts pricing and sales administration/invoicing.
* Experience using business management software.
* Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
