As a Wing Design Build Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's Single Aisle (SA) and Widebody (WB) Component Delivery Teams (CDTs). Acting as the link between Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring co-design solutions that are suitable for the industrial system while maintaining an engineering and customer-centric perspective.
Supporting the design definition and communicating the industrial requirements to the wider engineering community.
Providing 'lineside' build support and serving as the focal point for any Engineering topics within the Wing Plant CDTs, including root cause analysis investigations into all abnormalities arising from design queries.
The ideal candidate for the Wing Design Build Support Engineer role will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of metallic structures (composite knowledge desirable)
Knowledge and experience of design toolsets
Excellent communication skills and a drive to deliver customer value and quality
