**Position:** Retail Store Manager
**Salary:** £26,784 - £31,459 plus benefits
**Location:** Headington (114 London Road)
**Contract:** Permanent
**Hours:** Full time, 37.5 hours per week
**Reports to:** Area Manager

Your store will serve as a community hub, showcasing our work and engaging supporters.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, inspire, and engage a team of paid staff and volunteers, including recruitment, retention, and development.
* Manage the commercial aspects of the store, including merchandising, stock management, and maintaining standards.
* Provide excellent customer and supporter service, acting as a role model.
* Maximise profit through cost control and sales strategies.
* Build relationships with the local community and internal teams.
* Organise and run creative fundraising events to meet targets.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, and HR policies.
* Perform manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience managing and inspiring diverse teams.
* Target-driven with the ability to motivate others.
* Skilled in multi-tasking in a lively environment.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Commercial awareness and knowledge of retail fashion (preferably high street).
* Adaptable and able to work independently.
* Understanding of item pricing, value, and worth.
* Flexible with working hours, including rota work.
