Nights Maintenance Engineer

We're working on behalf of a highly successful and well-established food manufacturing company based in Hull. They re currently going through a major growth phase, investing heavily across their operation, and looking to strengthen their engineering team with a dedicated Nights Maintenance Engineer.

The role:
Working on a 4 on 4 off nights shift pattern, you ll be responsible for maintaining production equipment across the site. You ll carry out a mix of reactive and planned maintenance tasks, ensuring machinery is operating at peak efficiency and that downtime is kept to a minimum.
Key responsibilities include:
* Fault finding and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems
* Carrying out planned preventive maintenance activities
* Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects
* Working closely with production teams to maintain safety and efficiency
What you ll need to succeed:
* You must have completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
* Strong experience in a manufacturing or food/FMCG environment
* Comfortable fault finding across both mechanical and electrical systems
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a team-focused approach
