Hours: Monday – Friday | 07:30 – 15:45
Salary: £42,000 + Overtime & On-Call Payments

We’re delighted to be partnering with a long-established, highly respected industrial manufacturing business based in Winsford to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving site reliability through a combination of reactive and planned maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
Responding quickly and effectively to mechanical breakdowns across the manufacturing site
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) to minimise downtime
Replacing and maintaining bearings, gland packing, belt drives and chain drives
Supporting machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in full compliance with site procedures
About You
You’ll be a practical, mechanically biased engineer who is confident working independently while also being a strong team player.
You’ll bring:
Proven mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components and fault-finding techniques
The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

Day shifts only: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:45
Competitive salary: £42,000 per annum
Excellent overtime rates:
Weekday overtime paid at 1.5x
Weekend overtime paid at 1.75x
Standby / on-call payments for weekday and occasional weekend cover
Disturbance fees and minimum call-out hours paid when called in
