Day-to-day duties
As an Operations Assistant you'll be hardworking, observant, enthusiastic and confident. You'll be responsible for the high standard of presentation that's always expected throughout the park.
Your duties will include:
· Litter picking throughout the park
· Grass cutting, weeding and sweeping and/or leaf blowing
· Emptying bins and removing waste from departments for recycling
· Operating the entrance gates of the animal reserves and supervising vehicles as they pass through the Drive Thru sections
· Lighting BBQ's for visitors and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the undercover picnic areas
· Working throughout the Park undertaking duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the operation
Knowledge, skills and qualifications required:
· Experience of working with the public in a customer-facing role
· Ability to work on your own or as part of a team outside in all weather
· A full clean driving license
