About us
Based on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland, Bentham Medical Practice is a forward-thinking community focused rural practice with a list size of approximately 7,500 patients. The main surgery is located in the market town of High Bentham with a branch practice in Ingleton.
Positioned as we are on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border we face the challenges of dealing with multiple service providers, limited public transport, and isolation but our patients are (on the whole!) fantastic. We received the CQC rating of 'Good' and our PPRG reports extremely high satisfaction feedback from patients.
We play an active role in supporting local groups and care homes and it is the Practice's intention to build on this model as part of the Neighbourhood Plan. We are part of the Western Dales PCN and work closely and collaboratively with the other 2 practices in this group to provide a co-ordinated healthcare package for the patients under our care.
We value our team and have many long standing members of staff. The Practice is known for its helpful and friendly ethos and this is at the heart of all we do.
