The Role
* Deliver noise modelling and acoustic assessments for aviation products using advanced simulation tools.
* Integrate noise control solutions into planning, design, and infrastructure projects in and around Southampton.
* Translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
* Prepare detailed reports, assessments, and recommendations.
* Lead projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring outcomes meet time, cost, and quality targets.
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
* A degree in Acoustics, Aerodynamics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience in aviation noise and vibration, ideally in product development or aircraft engine acoustics.
* Strong ability with noise modelling software and understanding of aviation noise impact mechanisms.
* Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for innovation.
Desirable
* Membership/Chartership with IOA or IMechE.
* Experience with sound insulation schemes or public consultation.
