Tested by you. As a Test Engineer (Test Services) at Safran Landing Systems, you will play a key role in the setup, execution, and support of landing gear test activities. Your focus will be on configuring and maintaining the Electrical control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition setups required for structural, performance, and environmental testing. These tests are required for research and development, qualification, production and in-service support. What will I be doing? 1. Specify and configure bespoke control systems using hydraulics, pneumatics, electric drives, PLC and HMI 2. Configuration of electro-hydraulic servo control test systems 3. Configuration of instrumentation and data acquisition systems 4. Selection, integration and calibration of transducers 5. Development of test methodologies to meet customer needs, improve test capability and efficiency 6. Technical liaison with customers and suppliers Who are Safran Landing Systems? Educated to HNC, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar. 2. Hands-on experience with electrical controls, hydraulics, and instrumentation. 3. An ability to understand technical drawings and test requirement documentation. 4. Knowledge of safe working practices relating to all aspects of testing (e.g. General Health & Safety at Work, Risk Assessments, COSHH, Isolation & Lockout procedures, Lifting & Slinging) 5. Able to compile technical reports and schematics, in order to detail test methods. 6. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively within a team. 8.
