Job Title : Program Controls Analyst Reporting To: Program and Planning Controls Manager Work Schedule: Hybrid – Tewkesbury, GBR Program Controls Analyst (Early Career to Senior Level) Due to continued business growth, we are seeking two Program Controls Analysts to join our team. These roles are open to early-career through senior-level professionals, with responsibilities and scope aligned to experience. As a Program Controls Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the financial and schedule performance of programs across their full lifecycle. This role combines cost management, scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVMS) to provide insight into current program performance and to support accurate forecasting of future outcomes. The level of responsibility, autonomy, and leadership within the role will be aligned to experience, making this opportunity suitable for both developing analysts and highly experienced program controls professionals. You will work closely with Program Managers, Finance, and Integrated Product Teams to ensure accurate planning, reporting, and execution, while contributing to the continuous improvement of the Program Controls function. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and progress integrated master and sub-project schedules, ensuring sound schedule logic (horizontal and vertical) Support or lead Earned Value Management (EVMS) activities, from baseline development through program completion Consolidate and analyze cost and schedule data to assess performance against plan and identify significant variances Support or lead sales forecasting, cash flow management, and performance-to-plan analysis Develop ad-hoc reporting and analysis to identify financial and schedule trends within the monthly reporting cycle Coordinate with project team members to progress schedules and resolve conflicts Conduct detailed analysis of major program events and key milestones Work with Program Managers to analyze and interpret performance data for monthly reporting and senior management reviews Collaborate with Finance to ensure compliance with cost management policies Interpret cost and schedule impacts and communicate findings to Control Account Managers and IPT Leads Support risk and opportunity management, including impact assessment and mitigation tracking Contribute to continuous improvement of program controls processes, tools, and EVMS compliance Qualifications Early Career / Analyst Level Typically 2 years’ experience in planning, scheduling, cost management, or project controls Demonstrable knowledge of engineering, accounting or a related field through a degree or equivalent experience Working knowledge of MS Project/Open Plan (or equivalent) and basic EVMS principles Strong numerical and analytical skills Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Experienced / Senior Level Typically 8–10 years’ experience in program controls, scheduling, cost management, or financial control Advanced expertise in MS Project/Open Plan, integrated master schedules, and EVMS implementation Proven ability to analyze complex cost and schedule data and provide insight to program leadership Experience supporting or leading monthly performance reporting and executive presentations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and mentor others as required This role requires regular travel, with time split between our Wolverhampton and Tewkesbury facilities as business needs dictate Our people enjoy tackling interesting technical challenges in a culture where everyone trusts each other.
