Responsibilities
Provide mechanical services to meet the needs of the board healthcare facilities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients, by delivering a planned maintenance, repair and installations service which represents quality and value for money at all times.
Provide a safe maintenance service to all plant, equipment and service infrastructure within the Board’s hospitals and premises, ensuring delivery of all works to relevant legislation standards, incorporating STHM 03 01-Part A & B.
Legal Requirements
Individuals must demonstrate that they have permission to work in the United Kingdom, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the post is assessed as a regulated role, your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Changes will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or the Recruitment Team.
