As a Creative Assistant (Home) based at our Leighton Buzzard studio, you’ll be a pivotal member of our Photo Studio team, working as one to deliver the high-quality imagery our customers love. Specialising in our Home Still Life Cutout Channel, you’ll make a real difference by ensuring every project runs seamlessly - from preparing products to assisting with technical setups. You’ll collaborate closely with a fantastic team of photographers and stylists, receiving all the support you need to kickstart your creative journey. We’ll help you get started with hands‑on training for specialised tasks like light fixture fitting and cove maintenance, ensuring you’re confident and ready to grow into a future stylist or photographer role.
What you’ll take on
* Support on‑set operations for Home cutouts, assisting with up to 8 sets per day to ensure efficient shoot execution.
* Manage and organise products across all photography sets, ensuring all items are correctly prepped and have the necessary paperwork attached.
* Take an active role in technical and physical prep, including building furniture, moving heavy equipment, and setting up lighting ahead of shoots.
* Contribute to the creative presentation of products by assisting with styling for smaller cutout jobs and maintaining our studio cove system.
* Maintain accurate shoot documentation and image records within our digital workflows to support administrative processes.
* Work flexibly across other studios or on location as required, responding to changing priorities with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
What you’ll bring
* A genuine passion for homeware, interiors, and e‑commerce photography, along with a portfolio that showcases your current interests and skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the confidence to stay calm and professional in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
* A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills, making you a great team player who can take direction well while using your own initiative.
* Physical fitness and comfort with a hands‑on workload, including regularly lifting and manoeuvring heavy furniture and equipment.
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy, particularly when it comes to the presentation of soft furnishings and product details.
* A proactive approach to learning, with proficiency in Google Workspace and Mac OS; any familiarity with Capture One or Lightroom is a bonus.
* A full UK driving licence.
