A vacancy has become available for a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
The post holder will work within Acute Medicine at Scarborough Hospital. They will work as part of the medical team providing acute medical assessment and intervention, whilst working closely with the wider MDT, supporting admission avoidance and timely patient discharges from hospital.
Main duties of the job
They will ensure patients receive appropriate assessment, investigations, intervention and treatment with minimal delay. The ACP will provide a high level of service provision, and will operate at the equivalent level to a junior doctor (Specialty trainee ST1-3).
The post holder will work alongside the Clinical Director and Consultant supporting patients needs.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Minimum of three years post-registration experience in relevant clinical area
2. Registered practitioner (NMC, HCPC, GPhC)
Experience

3. Understanding of current clinical evidence and best practice guidelines
4. Experience of working in an acute medical setting
5. Awareness of the four pillars of advanced clinical practice
Desirable criteria
6. Evidence of completed research projects
7. Experience of working at nurse specialist level
