Standard working hours: 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to FridayResponsibilities:
Review customer CAD files for SLA, DLP, MSLA, or FDM suitability
Modify and fix CAD models using Materialise Magics, Autodesk Powershape, or PTC Creo
Prepare CAD files for additive manufacturing, including part orientation and support creation
Develop fibre strategies for Markforged FDM processes
Operate and monitor multiple AM machines, ensuring quality and efficiency
Create tooling insert CAD models for the PU department
Perform minor maintenance and calibration of AM machines
Participate in a weekend rota to support operationsEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
ND or degree in CAD/CAM, industrial design, or engineering
Experience in parametric or surface CAD modelling
Strong interest and understanding of 3D printing technologies
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented attitudeDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Previous experience in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing
Familiarity with software such as Materialise Magics, Autodesk Powershape, PTC Creo, and slicing software like Cura or PrusaSlicerHow to apply:
