The primary objective of the role is to develop the future product architectures that are meeting the market requirements as they evolve, to place Safran Seats at the fore-front of the market. As such the role holder will need to integrate inputs from many areas across the business Key responsibilities will include: The role holder will need to understand and integrate all these inputs to develop the product vision that meets all of the business needs and then develop the product line requirements and architectural solutions accordingly. Throughout the development activity the role-holder will continue to act as the primary internal customer and so must ensure that the agreed business objectives are achieved. Therefore the role has significant influence on the future product strategy for the business, and the role holder has direct accountability in front of a wide range of senior business stakeholders. The role holder also must account for external influences, in particular the global market & trends, competitors' products and relationships with key customers.
