We are seeking to recruit a full-time Regulatory Compliance Support Officer to work closely with the Regulatory Compliance Officers in the Regulatory Compliance Team in delivering a service to facilitate cutting-edge research activity, within the envelope of national and international export control regulations.
You will jointly support the Research Governance, Ethics and Integrity Team (RGEIT) to implement the Quality Management Systems for processing highly restricted data at the University.
The post covers complex areas including international regulation and requires the ability to assimilate, understand and translate those regulations to a range of audiences. More importantly perhaps, is the ability to engage, support and work effectively with colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds, such as advanced materials, aerospace, nuclear, clinical and biological fields.
You will be expected to support researchers with queries, managing central databases, compile and submit applications through the SPIRE and LITE portals.
