Within this role, you will ensure that the Security Team actively provide a safe environment for our guests, employees & contractors, providing protection for our company assets. This will be done by the day-to-day management of the Security Team, active involvement in departmental strategic objectives such as site security and daily resort operations. You will take a leading role in assisting with Resort incidents as well as monitoring CCTV and Resort radios, ensuring key information is delivered via the appropriate channels. Part of the role will include involvement with Emergency Procedures, and you must be able to liaise with all key stakeholders involved, including Park Management and Emergency Services. Finally, you will remain customer focused on all times and ensure all duties are carried out in a professional manner. As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of the team: manage the day-to-day operation of the department efficiently through appropriate allocation of resources. React to unexpected operational challenges in a calm, efficient and professional manner. Lead by example: you will lead by example with front line employees as well as back of house to ensure they all reach their potential whilst delivering high standards of professionalism and customer service to both internal and external customers. Continually monitor the team’s performance ensuring a high quality of services and resolve any operational problems that may occur. Develop the Security Team: help develop effective, trained security staff to provide effective guarding at the Resort. Supporting in the Control Room: assist with the management of the Security team (including Operations Control) to ensure we always operate within policies and legislation, whilst minimising risk and delivering high standards of guest and internal service. Emergency Services Coordinator : have a high-level understanding of all emergency procedures on Resort, assisting with the delivery of all Security related aspects of incident management for the Resort. Assist the Profit Protection Department with internal Procedures : assisting with the management of the Attraction Loss Strategy to protect against loss, as well as employee loss. Managing the Team within the Departmental Budgets : support the management team to ensure, through effective staff scheduling, the Resort is covered suitably by Security personnel throughout the year, and in line with budgetary allocation. Ensure Safety is our 1 Priority : ensure all work areas are maintained to the highest standard and fit for operation in line with procedures and Health & Safety guidelines. Days of working: Varied Shift Patterns The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: You must have the right to work in the UK Experience leading or managing a security team Must hold a valid SIA door supervisor licence SIA CCTV licence is an advantage - or willing to work towards one.
