We work closely with families and professionals to ensure each young person’s needs are met.
We’re now hiring a Waking Night Support Worker to help provide a safe, nurturing residential setting that supports children’s physical, emotional, and social development.

5. Week : Wed, Thu, Fri — hours
6. Minimum hours per month

Duties and Responsibilities:
11. Stay awake and alert for the full night shift
12. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of each child throughout the night
13. Offer empathy and support when young people need reassurance
14. Support personalised bedtime routines and occasional activities
15. Keep accurate computer‑based records
16. Follow the Philomena protocol when reporting a missing child
17. Communicate effectively with out‑of‑hours services and handle calls professionally
18. Follow Area Camden policies and be a positive role model for children and colleagues
19. Contribute to the home’s ethos and adapt to the needs of the young people
Essential Skills Required
20. Strong teamwork, energy, and enthusiasm
21. Understanding of safeguarding children
22. Ability to follow tasks and record detailed handovers
23. Able to maintain policies and procedures
24. Good written and verbal communication
25. Ability to listen, engage, and act appropriately with children
26. Organised, with good planning skills
27. Willing to work toward a relevant Level qualification (if not already held)
