New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Primary SEN Teacher to work in schools across Wirral West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to support and inspire children with Autism and complex learning needs, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
The Role:
1. Teaching and supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs across the primary age range
2. Planning and delivering personalised, high-quality lessons and interventions
3. Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress
4. Maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
5. Collaborating closely with SEN teams, teaching assistants, and wider school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
7. Experience teaching in a primary school or SEN setting, particularly with pupils with Autism or complex needs
8. Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, differentiation, and inclusive teaching practices
9. Excellent classroom management and communication skills
10. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
