A renowned private medical clinic based on Harley Street is urgently seeking a Patient Coordinator / Receptionist to meet and greet patients and coordinate clinicians and nurses diaries. Based in beautifully presented offices, this permanent role offers a salary of up to £35,000 plus benefits. For the Patient Coordinator role we are looking for candidates who come from a fast-paced environment and have experience handling a high volume of appointment bookings. Hours: 42 hours per week, including a 1-hour lunch break. Typical shifts include: 6:3015:00, 08:0016:30, 09:0017:30, 09:3018:00 and 12:0020:30. Candidates must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to take constructive feedback on board, given the busy nature of the clinic. Patient Coordinator / Receptionist Responsibilities: Provide all information required for clients to enjoy their visit to the clinic. Meet and greet patients, ensuring all their needs are met during their visit. Liaise with Surgeons, Optometrists, Nurses, and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure the smooth running of each patients journey. Manage and coordinate multiple complex diaries for 8 Optometrists and 4 Surgeons. Act as the initial point of contact and gatekeeper for all patients, daily vendors, visiting clinicians, and contractors. Take payments and process refunds across several databases. Gather patient feedback via questionnaires, testimonials, and digital methods. Maintain clinic areas to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation. Complete all relevant administrative tasks, including scanning patient information, booking appointments, preparing templates, updating patient databases, and ensuring legal documents are submitted correctly.
