An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Student Support Assistant to join Kings Norton Girls’ School to cover a maternity leave. The role is temporary, full time, working term time only to cover a maternity leave and is available immediately.

This role is key to the smooth and effective running of our pastoral and student support teams. The successful candidate will be implementing behaviour management strategies under the direction of our Associate Assistant Headteacher. This will include working with a team to respond to the daily needs of students, responding to our on-call system, managing student statements, investigating incidents, and running daily targeted interventions.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, preferably in a school setting and will find themselves working in a friendly, supportive and ambitious school, where we always strive to provide our students with an amazing learning experience.
