£31,361-£34,845 FTE (depending on experience)

Home based with occasional travel to Worcester/Solihull offices as required.

Permanent, Part Time (17.5 hours per week)


About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Engagement Officer to join our team at Platform Housing Group, on a part time basis working 17.5 hours per week and we're flexible on when those hours are worked. You will have an opportunity to have a real impact and ensure our customers' voices are heard. The Customer Engagement Officer will be responsible for enhancing, promoting and managing the involvement of customers in making decisions about their homes and communities, and co‑designing the services offered by Platform Housing to put customers at the heart of everything we do. The role will involve working with involved customers to help improve our services and using a range of communication tools to engage effectively with wider communities and external partners. This is a home‑based role with occasional travel to our offices for collaborative team working days, approximately once or twice a month, and may also require visits to the Worcester office or events.


Requirements

* Previous experience of working in a Customer or Community Engagement role.
* Experience of facilitating customer engagement initiatives – including leading meetings, focus groups and community events.
* Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework relevant to Housing.
* Experience of designing effective communication materials for customers.
* An ability to communicate effectively with internal or external stakeholders.
* Successful applicant will have a DBS check carried out before commencing employment.
* Successful applicant will also need to drive and have access to a vehicle due to occasional need to travel to Platform sites.
