We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), working across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH). Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff, you will help create a learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual student needs
* Assist in the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Support classroom learning by adapting resources and activities
* Promote student confidence, independence, and positive engagement
* Record and monitor student progress, and communicate concerns as needed
* Support students with personal care needs when required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with young people with SEN (in school or similar settings)
* A calm, empathetic and resilient approach
* Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* A flexible attitude and willingness to learn
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning) is desirable, but not essential
