About the Role
We are seeking to appoint from September 2025 an enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Health & Social Care HLTA. The successful candidate should have sound culinary knowledge and be able to support all aspects of the food curriculum, including:
* Supporting the teaching of small focus groups of students
* Covering food lessons when required
* Contributing to the production of high-quality resources supporting food delivery
* Ordering supplies and maintaining stock, including online shopping
* Resourcing lessons daily
* Supporting practical food lessons, including demonstrations
* Using ICT skills to enhance learning
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Delivering the Health and Social Care curriculum when required
* Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Curriculum is desirable
