What if you could follow your heart instead of the brand guidelines?
What if you could see projects through from start to finish instead of tinkering 'round the edges?
What if you were transforming clients' businesses, not just tweaking the colour scheme?
What if you could see the personal impact you were making on each project?
What if you could be part of a business with big agency brainpower but without the late nights and office politics?
Here you can do all that and more.
We’re Retail Experience Design an independent commercial interior design studio with a big reputation for creativity and problem solving. Our clients love the work we deliver, functionally and aesthetically. More and more businesses are queuing up to work with us. We’re ambitious and excited by what we can achieve.
All that’s missing is you.
We need a talented interior commercial designer who’s both creative and confident with the technical detail. We’ll trust you to see projects through from end to end. You’ll handle everything from site visits, design strategy and creative concepts through to technical drawings and working with contractors to deliver the final fit-out.
You’ll become a key part of our friendly team, working closely with our creative director, helping other designers develop and growing the business. There’s a nice mix of work: startups, brands, independents and multiples and spanning retail, health & wellbeing, hospitality and workspaces.
We’re busy and we work hard but we’re pretty flexible about when and where you work best – for the right person, this could even be a part-time role.
To apply, you’ll need to tick as many of these boxes as possible:
* A relevant degree – maybe in Interior Architecture/Design
* Commercial interior design experience, probably in retail, workspace, commercial or hospitality
* You know AutoCAD, Enscape, SketchUp, and InDesign
* Excellent conceptual and design skills; an eye for detail and aesthetics.
* Proven communication, presentation and client management skills.
* Happy managing your own work, juggling different projects
* Knowledge of building regs, construction methods, and industry standards.
