As Site Agent, you will have responsibility for the delivery of the construction phase of assigned projects or sections within large schemes. Your role includes providing direction to the site team to ensure successful project delivery, maintaining good client relationships, and overseeing various performance aspects.
Accountabilities include:
* Programme performance across all project stages.
* Commercial performance, including change control.
* Completion of Monthly Project Review Dashboards and reports.
* Management of project risks and opportunities.
* SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) performance.
* Procurement and supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
* Organise enabling works and site mobilisation, including site setup.
* Ensure HSEQ pre-start meetings are held.
* Prepare, maintain, and review the Site Management Plan.
* Develop and include initial Temporary Works Schedule within the Construction Programme.
* Contribute to civils procurement enquiries regarding scope, programme, and management.
* Produce Monthly Progress Reports.
Health & Safety:
* Champion Safety Ripple and improve HSEQ performance.
* Observe statutory provisions related to construction industries.
* Implement company HSEQ procedures and ensure documentation is provided to clients.
* Ensure all personnel understand and are trained in their HSEQ responsibilities.
* Report incidents, undertake investigations, and recommend preventative measures.
* Hold regular HSEQ planning meetings.
Programme Management:
* Manage and support the production of a detailed, resourced programme.
* Define phases with critical paths and milestones, involving the commercial team.
* Establish responsibilities and monitor progress through regular meetings.
* Update the programme as needed and communicate with clients and project teams.
* Incorporate design deliverables into the overall delivery programme.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
* SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS certifications.
* 5-10 years of relevant experience.
* Desirable: Experience with flood defence projects or Environment Agency frameworks.
