Overview
At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We focus on delivering the highest quality service for residents. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at Brize Meadow Lodge.
As a Care Assistant, you’ll take responsibility for the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, including assisting with personal care activities (washing, dressing, personal hygiene and meals) and supporting general activities within the home.
You’ll provide care that preserves dignity and individuality. You may help residents with limited mobility, offer comfort, or provide compassionate end-of-life care, always prioritising wellbeing.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You should recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training and undertake related development; you may seek appropriate advice and report concerns, escalating if necessary.
