HWB-S88 - PA to the Deans of Faculties
Job description
We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills to provide an efficient service to the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The role holder will support and be responsible for managing, delegating, monitoring and responding to administration and secretarial tasks on behalf of the Deans, maintaining appropriate confidentiality at all times. This will include diary management, monitoring task and response deadlines, drafting communications, dealing with administration and correspondence, including responsibility for actioning agreed elements of the Directors administration tasks and replying to correspondence.
The role holder will also assist with the generation of reports, presentations and analytics requested by the Dean relating to key partnership and strategy meetings for ELT, Student Support & Success, or Knowledge & Digital Services as well as other relevant departments. In addition to providing effective administrative services to the Dean, the job requires close liaison between other parts of the University to provide an efficient service. On occasion, the role holder will also be responsible for administration and event logistics tasks for Faculty events, in collaboration with other members of staff.
The successful candidate will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and have experience working in a busy office environment and dealing with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Possessing an excellent eye for detail, the post holder will be able to work to their own initiative and able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
